Craft Shows for November great chritsmas shopping

Arts and craft shows in Albuquerque abound during the holiday season, offering shoppers a chance to pick up a one of a kind gift. Albuquerque's annual arts and craft shows begin in early November and continue through December. Craft shows are listed by show date.

Shopping Extravaganza
The St. James Tearoom will feature the work of local artists and holiday music. Ship for holiday gifts while tasting pastries and teas.

The annual market takes place November 29 from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m., and November 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The arts and crafts focus on traditional Spanish arts such as santeros.
Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festival

The annual holiday show features over 200 artists, entertainment, food and holiday music. There will be a Holiday Creation Station for kids, where they can craft their own gifts. Admission is $7 adults, 3 day pass $9, children under 12 free. $5 parking fee.
Rescue the Holidays Craft Show
November 29 - December 1
The annual craft show held at Cottonwood Mall will benefit the Four Corners Equine Rescue. The free show runs on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m, and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Look for the show on the upper floor near Macy's.

Red Bear Holiday Bazaar
November 30
Walatowa Youth Center, Jemez Pueblo
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Holiday shopping just expanded with the chance to get gifts at the Jemez Pueblo at this special event. Find Native American and contemporary holiday arts and crafts. “Miracle of Main Street” Christmas Festival and Electric Light Parade coming to Belen
The City of Belen will be hosting the “Miracle of Main Street” Christmas Festival and Electric Light Parade on November 27 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 100 South Main Street.  The event will feature food, craft vendors and family entertainment. Dia de los Muertos Celebrations Nov 3rd, 2013


Dia de los Muertos Celebrations in the Albuquerque Area
In Albuquerque, Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) celebrations take place over several weeks in October and November, although the holiday is traditionally celebrated between October 31st and November 2nd.
Families remember deceased loved ones and honor them by building offering altars (ofrendas) where sugar skulls are placed, along with offerings of pan de muertos (bread). The holiday is festive although the subject may not be, as spirits are welcomed back into peoples' lives for another year.
The Marigold Parade and Festival takes place in Albuquerque's South Valley on Sunday, November 3, 2013.

Dia de los Muertos Celebration
South Broadway celebrates the tradition of the Day of the Dead with altars, an art market, and live entertainment. The community celebration features family activities and musical acts.

Dia de los Muertos Marigold Parade
The annual south valley parade presents music, altars, food and art vendors. Come out in your best calavera attire.

2013 Exhibitions
Dia de Muertos Ofrenda Installation
Every year, the National Hispanic Cultural Center invites the public to create their own ofrendas to honor loved ones who have passed away. The beautiful installation changes each year.
When: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm Saturday; October 14-November 3.
Where: National Hispanic Cultural Center, Domenici Education Center, 1701 Fourth Street SW.

Rio Grande Community Farm Maize Maze
Come explore a 7-acre corn maze, learn about endangered amphibians through fun outdoor activities.

Creeping, Crawling & Carnivorous Show

The Unser Racing Museum is a multi-dimensional museum experience utilizing modern technologies to educate and immerse the visitor in the exciting world of racing. The museum has been expanded to include an all new annex, with even more racing history, cars, and memorabilia. The annex contains a wide variety of cars, from fully restored antiques, to winning pace cars and race cars. There's also a trophy room filled with thousands of unique items, a complete library spanning the history of racing, original artwork, and so much more!
