Albuquerque Zoo discounts

Summer Mondays = $7 1 adult and 4 children
Beginning the Monday after Memorial Day through Labor Day, one full-paying adult can bring up to four children into the Zoo or Aquarium/Garden free of charge on Mondays. This special offer is not available for combo admission as combo tickets are not sold on Mondays.
Zooper Wednesdays
On Wednesday nights from June 1 - August 31, the Zoo, Aquarium and Botanic Garden are open until 8 p.m. for Zooper Wednesdays!  Admission is discounted from 5 - 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for seniors (65+) and children (3-12).

Reciprocal Agreements with Other Institutions
Half-price admission is offered to members of many gardens, aquarium and zoos across the US. If you are a member of a participating park, you will need your membership card and picture ID when you come to the BioPark. See the list.

What to bring 

  • Be sure to bring your sunscreen and a hat for the many outdoor exhibits at the BioPark.
  • You're welcome to bring a cooler, food (as long as it is not catered), umbrellas and chairs or blankets to sit on.  
  • Do not bring
  • Glass containers, pets, alcohol, weapons, toys, sports equiptment, beverage lids, straws, radios, CD or MP3 players and grills are prohibited.
just a side note... Orangutans are one of the most critically endangered of the great apes, due to poaching and habitat loss. this is the best part, The Orangutan Conservancy (OC) is emphasizing its commitment to wild orangutan conservation by offering for adoption six orangutans currently living in the Kutai National Park in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.   http://www.orangutan.com/how-to-help/adoption/
