Rio Grande Community Farm Maize Maze!

100.3 The Peak brings you the 14th Annual Maize Maze Dino Maze, September 3rd through October 31st at the Rio Grande Community Farm.
Come explore a 7-acre corn maze, follow dinosaur tracks, dig for bones, and even play with dino eggs.
Every Fall, the Maize Maze attracts thousands of visitors to Rio Grande Community Farm.  The corn grown through the summer becomes 6 feet or taller – and has paths precisely cut by GPS technology to form the Maze.  Proceeds from the Maze fund the special programs that support education, wildlife, and our community.

Corn Maze and Dino Hunt
Explore a 7-acre “dino” corn maze and play an all new Dino Hunt game developed by NMMNHS.
Dino Activities
Run through the haybale labyrinth and play in all the dino activities developed by the NMMNHS.
Pumpkin Patch
Come out every weekend in October to find your perfect pumpkin.
Petting Zoo
Valley Flowers Farm will have their farm animals every Sat 9am-1pm and Sun 1pm – 6pm.
Kids Story Time
Bookworks will host a children’s story time each Saturday at 10am.
Family Photos
A special family photo mural painted by Ann Marie Eastburn allows you to get your picture with a dinosaur.
Fresh Produce and Food Vendors
Our RGCF organic farm stand and food Vendors every weekend. Come get your freshly picked produce and enjoy 100% fruit smoothies, natural beverages and snacks by Dynamic Organix, LLC.

trick or treat at Hinkle Family fun center 10-30-11

We did this a few years back and it was a lot of fun. there was candy, cool stuff, all in one place. Its free and just walking through for all the candy is great fun.

Description

The Balloon Museum will host the Lighter Than Air Fair on the museum lawn during the "downtime" of the Balloon Fiesta event.
The Lighter Than Air Fair is located within walking distance or a short shuttle ride from the Balloon Fiesta Park and is free to the public.
Highlights include daily musical entertainment from local bands and musicians, a Navy exhibit featuring an official flight simulator, children-friendly crafts and activities and much more.
Visitors of all ages will be able to enjoy food, music, arts and crafts, exhibits, contests and many more activities as they explore the Lighter Than Air Fair.

New Mexico Centennial Celebration

Inside the Balloon Museum, daily programs will help honor New Mexico’s 1912 centennial, with a different theme for each day of the Balloon Fiesta event.
Daily programs include:
  • 40 years of Balloon Fiesta
  • New Mexico Centennial
  • Local heroes, and more.

Balloon Explorium

Held daily at the Balloon Museum from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Balloon Fiesta, the Balloon Explorium features a variety of hands-on activities for children including a bubble box, computer simulators, wind box and burner basket.
